Our technicians remove the wheel, dismount the tyre, and inspect it inside and out. If the damage sits within the repairable area of the tread and the tyre’s internal structure is sound, We Can Repair the tyre.

Valve Replacement

A leaking or corroded valve stem is one of the most common causes of slow pressure loss. We replace damaged rubber and metal valves on-site, including checking your TPMS sensor valves where fitted, so your dashboard warning light stays off for good.

Sidewall Assessment

Hit a kerb or pothole? Sidewall damage cuts, bulges or cracking can’t legally or safely be repaired, Our technicians inspect the sidewall and tyre carcass properly and give you an honest answer: safe to drive, monitor it, or replace it. No guesswork, no upselling.

Under BS AU 159, a tyre can only be repaired when the puncture sits within the central ¾ of the tread (the repairable zone), the hole is 6mm or smaller, and the tyre’s internal structure hasn’t been damaged by being driven on while flat.

A tyre cannot be safely repaired if:

The damage is in the sidewall or shoulder
The puncture is larger than 6mm
The tyre has been run flat and the inner liner is damaged
The tread depth is below the legal limit of 1.6mm
There are signs of ageing, cracking or previous poor repairs

If your tyre can’t be repaired, our technician will tell you straight away and can usually supply and fit a replacement on the same visit through our mobile tyre fitting service so you’re never left stranded either way.
